As I think about what she told me and I observe the beauty that is around me I am getting so excited for all that lies before me. Believe it or not, I am nine days away from graduating with my Masters. Tomorrow I will pick up my cap and gown from school and this weekend I hope to shop for my graduation dress. I can't believe my spring is coming!!!! God has taught me so much on this journey and here we go!!!!
For those of you who were wondering about my defending of my thesis, it went very well. Last week, on Thursday 4/16, I defended my thesis. It was a great experience and a lot more personable than I anticipated. The bummer of it was that the reader's VCR ate my tape, so she never saw me in action. But she loved my paper, and the write up on my client. She was very complimentary and really encouraged me as I pursue this new adventure.
When it was all said and done, my professor looked at me and said it was great for her to walk with me on this journey and that now I have officially moved from student to professional. Wow!!!! I must admit that gave me butterflies!!!!
Spring is here my friends. What is God bringing to light for you? And if you don't know yet, hold on tight. It's coming!!!! Spring always comes!!!
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
Again Congratulations on your hard work. Probably like a great weight off of you. :)
ReplyDeleteAnother thought on spring is the reminder that God is faithful in that He always sends spring after winter. That is awesome!
Mandi, I am SO PROUD OF YOU!!! You have been so dedicated to this process and a whole new season of your life is about to begin! I only wish I could be there to celebrate with you.
ReplyDeleteNice pot in the window, by the way. I can't believe it survived the multiple moves. 11 years and counting!
Lots of love to you,
Hosanna
P.S. Walter already had a Blogger account, so I'm just using his.
